Open House kicks off Stuffed Animal Drive
for Child Advocacy Center of Herkimer County

The Shops at 25 West in Little Falls is calling for new stuffed animal donations to be given to child victims of sexual and severe physical abuse through the Child Advocacy Center of Herkimer County.
The donation kick-off is set for The Shops annual Holiday Open House, this Saturday Dec. 5th and will run until Dec. 23rd.

The Child Advocacy Center is one of 18 nationally accredited child advocacy centers in New York State. This premier facility houses a medical exam room, a therapy room, a child friendly interview room, and a child friendly family waiting area. Everything done there is done with the victim in mind and the victim’s non-offending family members.

Under the direction of the YWCA Mohawk Valley, the child advocacy center was formed in 2001 and is located at 205 North Washington Street in Herkimer.
